The Women's Ministry is for the purpose of nurturing, encouraging, and equipping every woman to grow in her relationship with God. We want to help ladies grow into the godly woman she was created to be, helping her to effectively serve her family, the church, the community, and the world. We desire to minister to women from all walks of life, offering opportunities for fellowship, ministry, outreach, and just plain fun!
Our goal is that as you become involved, build friendships, and apply God's word to your life, you will experience the love that God has for you, your heart will be strengthened, and your true beauty will be refined.
Our "Girlfriend's Cafe" Ladies' Bible study takes place on the 3rd Tuesday night of each month at 7:00 PM.
Today, Christian men need an atmosphere where they can be challenged to live a holy life, become active members in the kingdom of God, and fulfill their full potential as Men of God. Men’s Ministry is geared towards men who want to be true disciples of Jesus Christ in every aspect of life. “Man Up” Bible Study takes place on the second Tuesday night of each month at 7:00 PM. All men are invited to come participate in prayer, worship, and comprehensive Bible study.

We are blessed to have many talented musicians and singers in our church who are dedicated to being involved in music ministry and using their talents for God. Our singers and musicians are at church early every service and dedicate their time during the week for practice, prayer, and rehearsals. Evan and Ashley Grizzle have been the church Music Directors since 2014 and have taken the music department to the next level.
One of the most powerful ministries of our church. The van ministry is an exceptional example of the church's vision to reach "whosoever will..." We have many dedicated and passionate van drivers who arrive at church hours before every service to pick people up and make sure everyone has the opportunity to be in the house of God. Headed by Bro. Larry St. Clair, a product of the van ministry outreach himself, the van ministry has grown to new heights and continues to expand. We currently have 5 vans that have routes all over various parts of the city.

We have growing, active, and exciting youth group that is excited about living for God! One of the most active areas of the church, there are activities almost every week geared toward keeping our young people (ages 11-19) engaged in church activities and having good fellowship with other teens. Many of our young people take active leadership roles in the church by helping with music, teaching, and other areas of church ministry. Led by Josh Siddons, the youth team at Apostolic Tabernacle is made up of young adults with a burden to reach the next generation. Check out our Youth Website!

Evan and Ashley Grizzle are also the founders of WorshipSource.org, a rapidly growing website dedicated to offering free resources for worship, music, and tech teams.
Our multimedia & sound team is a blessing to our church. They spend many hours designing and implementing multimedia in the form of songs, announcements, video clips, special presentations, and our church website.
GROUPS is a program designed to CARE for the needs of the church members, CONNECT members to the various ministries Apostolic Tabernacle offers, and help its members BUILD a stronger relationship with Christ. This program is comprised of different “care groups” in the church that are led by the best apostolic leaders in the Wilmington area. These group leaders are comprised of husband and wife teams that ensure that members are cared for, connected with other great Christian individuals and the ministries of the church, and are working to build their relationship with Christ. This program is designed to ensure that every member of Apostolic Tabernacle is adequately cared for with whatever need they may face. The care group leaders are each individual member’s point of contact for church-related questions or issues. If you aren’t already signed up, be sure to contact the church office to enroll in this great program and receive the superb level of care given by our care group leaders.
The greater Wilmington area has several nursing homes at which many people are often continuous residents. Due to their inability to travel, they aren’t able to make it to our main campus for services. Our nursing home ministry takes church directly to the residents of a few of the nursing homes in our city. This amazing ministry is overseen by Rev. Jessie Henry. She is an outstanding minister of the gospel and has shared her burden to minister to the residents of those homes. If you would like more information about this great ministry, please contact our church office.
